CIRSA held its annual General Membership Meeting on June 22, 2022. A total of 118 attendees representing 57 CIRSA members joined us for a day-long event in Breckenridge for CIRSA updates, accomplishments, and three inspiring and informational presentations.

We were honored to have Karl Mecklenburg, one of the greatest Denver Broncos players of all time present the day’s keynote speech. Sam Light, CIRSA General Counsel presented on laws relating to efforts to control incivility in various public settings – his presentation is here. Jim Kilmer, Partner and Division Director at The OPAL Group, spoke about the complexities associated with cyber security – his presentation slides are here, or you can watch the presentation here.

Board of Director elections did not take place at this year’s meeting due to the lack of a quorum. As a result, the following Board Members will continue to hold their seats as holdovers: Greg Caton of Grand Junction in the above 40,000 population category; Shane Hale of Windsor in the 10,000-40,000 population category; and Sara Ott of Aspen in the under 10,000 population category.
