ADA Coordinator Training – Based on the 2010 Department of Justice ADA regulations, this course will provide an overview of the regulation changes, effective dates, provisions for newly designed and constructed or altered facilities, and will discuss the scope of technical provisions. This two-part series covers: planning and coordinating overall compliance efforts, developing and implementing a grievance procedure, coordinating a self-evaluation, transition plans, employer responsibilities, guidance for reasonable accommodations, effective communication, essential job functions, and service animals, safety concerns, documentation of disability, and non-discriminatory hiring practices.
