Colorado POST and CIRSA are partnering to offer EDMUS, an IADLEST Nationally Certified Training Course, to our member police departments, FREE of charge. EDMUS is designed to help officers manage the daily stressors of life “on the job,” such as long hours, limited sleep, use of force, etc. This stress, if left unchecked, can adversely impact an officer’s ability to make ethical decisions. Consequently, it is critical for officers to recognize human responses to stress, understand how stress affects our decision-making, and develop the skills necessary to manage decisions under stress.
These 1-day workshops are being beta-tested at two Front Range locations in 2025. Should interest be high, we may offer a 3rd course on the Western Slope.
An Integrated Communications and Tactics (ICAT) 1.5-day course will be held June 3-4 & July 29-30 at the same locations. While it is a separate seminar, they overlap to create 2.5 days of quality law enforcement training.
NOTE: There is a max limit of three people per agency for these events, so please make sure to register.
