Safety Training Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for a Safety Training Coordinator. Position is responsible for developing and conducting high-quality, creative, and engaging occupational safety and health training courses. Course development includes both classroom and hands-on courses. Other duties include coordinating e-learning functions, such as online courses and monthly webinars. Significant travel is required throughout the state of Colorado. A bachelor’s degree in safety, risk management or an equivalent field, with at least 5 years of full-time safety/risk management experience, is required.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company vehicle.

Staff Accountant

As a member-owned self-insurance pool, CIRSA has been serving Colorado municipalities and affiliated public entities since 1982. Today, the vast majority of Colorado’s municipalities trust us to provide affordable property/liability and workers’ compensation coverage, risk management services, and personal attention that the big commercial carriers can’t deliver.  Our strong and stable business relies on outstanding staff, and we are looking for an entry level Staff Accountant who can handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. 

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing financial transactions and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations. 

  • Reporting and analysis of financial transactions in our claims system. 

  • Special projects such as verification and support for claims system upgrades and/or conversion. 

An accounting degree and strong Microsoft Office skills are required.  Experience in the insurance industry and/or government is desirable.
