WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIMS EXAMINER We are a public entity self-insurance pool in the Cherry Creek area, seeking a self-motivated workers’ compensation claims examiner. Minimum of 5 years experience in adjusting workers’ compensation claims required, including: conducting investigations; identifying subrogation and eligibility for SSDI, pension, unemployment, and other offsets; CMS/MSA requirements; authorizing or denying medical treatment; communicating with medical providers; reporting to excess carriers; working with defense counsel on litigated claims; evaluating and negotiating settlements; attending hearings; and reporting claims to excess insurers.
