Sara Ott was appointed the City Manager for the City of Aspen in 2019. She oversees the annual government operations through a diverse series of community services and capital projects. Prior to joining Aspen’s management team, Sara spent 18 years as a public servant in various Midwest local governments. She has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. When Sara’s not in the office, you can find her with her husband, young children, and dog taking advantage of the beautiful outdoor amenities in the Rocky Mountains.
