Safe Driving Strategies Classroom

Pre-registration is required.

Safe Driving Strategies: Hands-On (3 Season) – This interactive course utilizes member-owned vehicles and adequate parking lots or tracks to allow the student to practice various defensive driving tactics while validating the negative aspects of distracted driving. The length of this course is dependent on the number of students participating, with a minimum of four hours. This course may receive CCWP Training Units.

Stop the Bleed

Pre-registration is required.

Stop the Bleed – Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma.This two-hour course will focus on bleeding control for gunshots, stab wounds, and other penetration type injuries.Attendees will practice with tourniquets, learn how to pack wounds, and apply compression bandages.Prior First Aid experience is not necessary. 2 Hours

Safe Driving Strategies: A Focus on Distracted and Defensive Driving – This three-hour basic defensive driving course covers the most common forms of distracted and defensive driving. Students will use group activities to understand best practices and to evaluate our own driving habits more effectively in order to promote safe driving. This course may receive CCWP Training Units.
