SB20-217 Regional Impacts to Law Enforcement – A Report
The Regional Impacts to Law Enforcement Report is a recent publication from the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) that provides a regional perspective on issues surrounding SB20-217. The Report, prepared with financial assistance from the Division of Local Government and CIRSA, is the outcome of two months of interviews with Chiefs of Police and other law enforcement officials across the NWCCOG region about the financial, legal, and operational issues arising from SB20-217. While the Report is from the perspective of the agencies in the NWCCOG region, it will assist any local officials in understanding the police reform issues being addressed by Colorado local law enforcement agencies.
