When an employee has a workplace injury or occupational disease claim and is expected to be out for an extended period of time, you’ll want to ensure you understand the process. You should always provide details on the claim as soon as the incident occurs.
We recommend printing this diagram and posting it in your workspace, so you can quickly reference the details when needed.
It is required that you have the Workers’ Compensation Act and Notice of Employee of Injury posters posted in a high traffic area on the workplace premises. If you don’t have any posters or need additional copies, contact Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor Marla Myers at firstname.lastname@example.org. She can also answer any Workers’ Compensation claims questions you may have.
