Nicholas joined the CIRSA team in 2018 and brings more than 15 years of experience to his current role. Prior to CIRSA he worked as a risk control representative for a commercial insurance carrier, a risk manager for an auto dealership group, and most recently as a safety practitioner/project manager for an Environmental Health and Safety consulting firm.
As Nicholas partners with members to identify potential hazards, he also provides guidance to help improve their overall safety programs. Through the annual loss control audits and property surveys, Nicholas finds creative and cost-effective solutions to minimize the potential for losses.
“I love getting the chance to help our members find simple ways to keep their employees safe,” said Nicholas. “Safety can be a daunting task, but we are here to support members and work together.”
He originally hails from Northern California and has called Colorado home for 15 years. When Nicholas isn’t focused on safety at work, he enjoys camping with his wife and two children, Dominic (6) and Quinn (3). He is an avid cook, photographer, and loyal San Francisco Giants fan. He graduated from Oklahoma State with a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Safety Technology.
One of his favorite things about living in Colorado is watching the sun rise on the Rocky Mountains the day after it snows. “That view never gets old.”
