Expansion of the ADA Coordinator Training

Because our ADA Coordinator Training has been so popular the last two years, we’ve expanded it for 2019! The course provides a public sector-specific overview of the regulation changes, technical provisions, effective dates, and provisions for newly designed and constructed or altered facilities.

This two-day course will provide valuable insight on:

  • Planning and Coordinating Overall Compliance Efforts
  • Developing and Implementing a Grievance Procedure
  • Coordinating a Self-Evaluation
  • Transition Plans
  • Employer Responsibilities
  • Guidance for Reasonable Accommodations, Effective Communication, Essential Job Functions, and Service Animals
  • Safety Concerns
  • Documentation of Disability
  • Non-Discriminatory Hiring Practices

This course will be offered five times across various locations in Colorado in 2019:

Presenter Details:
A presenter from Meeting the Challenge (MTC), Inc. will facilitate the training. MTC works to educate individuals and organizations about their rights and responsibilities under the ADA and other disability laws.
