We will be conducting three regional safety symposiums around the state of Colorado, which will be free for any CIRSA members to attend. However, pre-registration is required for all events as there are strict attendance requirements. Please register for each separate event you desire to attend. To ensure fairness to all members, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees per member entity.
Playground Maintenance Technician (PMT) Course
This two-day course will focus on the maintenance, inspection principles, and best practices. The course uses a virtual playground to discuss the various materials and maintenance challenges. Inspection methodologies will be presented. The virtual playground allows for a hands-on
approach to the training. All attendees will receive a 250-page textbook upon completion of the two-day course.
NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety – Low Voltage
This one-day electrical safety course will cover safe behaviors, best practices, guidelines, and regulations from NFPA 70E. Attendees will receive a copy of the NFPA 70E standards as well as a training course student manual. There may be limited attendance per entity to ensure many members have the opportunity to attend. This course is a pre-requisite to attend the second-day high voltage course, but students are not required to attend the second day. This course is limited to 30 students.
NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety – High Voltage
Attendance at the day one, low voltage course is mandatory. This session will cover the potential electrical hazards as they relate to high voltage systems. Topics may include line tools, mobile equipment, and small group work sessions. Students will use their training manual and regulations provided from the day one course. This course is limited to 20 students, so any first-day attendees who are not required to work on high voltage systems should not attend.

Due to the number of separate sessions occurring at the same time, pre-registration is mandatory. We will allow same-day registration if room is available, but can not guarantee same-day attendance. Priority will be given to those who pre-register.

Travel & Lodging:
CIRSA will provide travel reimbursement for a maximum of two personnel for each separate event. Reimbursement is provided according to CIRSA’s Travel Reimbursement Policy and forms will be available at each event. CIRSA does not have any room blocks established for these events.
